Hi there! I'm a newbie to the state, but was given a warm welcome from Nikki to join the VA posse for this fun freebie hop. I have taught mostly 1st, but spent half of last year teaching 4th grade math. This year I find myself in Fairfax, VA teaching 2nd grade in an IB school. I am very excited and hope that you come by every once and a while to see what I've been up to in my classroom.

In the meanwhile, I have been doing a lot of thinking about my future class room. The school is having major renovations done this summer so I won't be able to see what it looks like or what I will have available for a few more weeks. The agony! So after looking around teacher blogland, I decided to put a little decoration pack together that we can use for a whole host of things. I love Lilly Bimble's cute papers!
