Movie Alert: Where the Wild Things Are
I am a fan of Spike Jonze...but what do you think, as an educator, of the rendition and interpretation that he made of our beloved Maurice Sendak classic from this trailer?
I think the movie looks relevant and sweet. Hopefully the kids will enjoy this as well. I hope to make a fieldtrip of it ^_^. Maybe even wear handmade wild-thing masks...ohhh the possibilities during Halloween!

Awesome! I look forward to seeing this one. I like your idea of a field trip. I wonder if it will be at IMAX. Imagine seeing this film there.
